HB 650 - What does it do? *Updated 6-23-11*

UPDATE 6-23-2011 - HB650 has been signed by Governor Perdue. It will go into effect on 1 December 2011.

House Bill 650, of the North Carolina 2011 legislative session is long and complicated. It will change a lot of firearm related laws. Rather than just give you a thumbnail sketch, I’ve broken down each section and looked at what each proposed change will be.

This is the current bill as passed by the House. Call and write your Senators and ask them to expedite this and other Pro-Rights bills to get them to the Governor's desk.

While you are at it, send some thank you mail and phone love towards the sponsors. They went out on a limb for you. Make sure that they know they can count on your support.
