You will either love this or hate it

I finally made the time to watch Dr. Horrible’s Sing Along Blog.

BRILLIANT! (YMMV)

The premise is that Neil Patrick Harris is Dr. Horrible and imagines himself to be a super-villain and needs to pull of something big in order to be accepted into the Evil League of Evil. His arch-nemesis is Nathan Fillion as The Hammer, a self centered egotistical jerk who just happens to be the best hero in town. When not trying (and usually failing) to pull off his crimes, Dr. Horrible talks to his viewers on his video blog. There is singing involved.

What separates good comedians from mediocre ones is commitment. Both Neil Patrick Harris and Nathan Fillion are committed in their roles.

  2. And if you want to get really geeky, someone made an 8-bit (or was it 16?) nintendo version, that plays out like you're watching an old video game. Also entertaining.
