It appears that she may have been shot in a case of mistaken identity by “travelers.” It’s hard to tell what exactly they are referring to, but in England the name “traveler” is a euphemism for “gypsy.”
So we have roaming bands of outlaws with guns in a modern western state. But the most pressing problem for the state isn’t suppression of the outlaws, but stricter gun control.
Can you see why I find this whole thing frustrating?
