When the Feds have to step in and prosecute a North Carolina resident, I regard that as a failure of our State criminal justice system. If we were taking care of our business, criminals would be prosecuted and punished within our own state, not shuffled off to the Federal pen to be paid for with Federal tax money. Case in point
If this criminal had been dealt with, he wouldn’t have been in a position to be selling stolen guns.
He’d given us plenty of warning that he wasn’t planning on following the laws. Maybe we should have listened.
