You are too stupid to know right from wrong

Another hand wringing article from the Noise and Disturber. Now the twin problems of the end of school bussing and annexation reform will destroy the fragile balance that built our great state.

There were specific urban policies designed to help North Carolina's cities thrive. There were efforts to keep the county school systems racially integrated - an effort that prevented white flight from the cities and racial polarization between the cities and suburbs.

So in this clown’s mind, it is a positive good that school children are thrown on a bus and delivered to whatever school suits his racial goals? Instead of fixing the problems with the school district, it’s better to make sure that enough white students get sent to crappy schools that no one can claim racism? I’m glad I don’t have kids. I think I would be in danger of being arrested for the things I would tell the school administrators.

Since the 1950s, North Carolina also had one of the nation's most flexible annexation laws - which allowed the cities to expand as new subdivisions, office parks and shopping centers were built. That is why North Raleigh, for example, is part of the city and not a series of small suburban towns.

It must be grand for the city to just be able to declare your house to be inside the city limits and now subject to city taxes. It’s like being a Viking. You can loot and pillage, but you don’t even have to get your sword dirty.

At their core, all Liberal arguments break down to one simple statement. “We are smarter and more moral than you. Do what we say or else.”
