This is why we can't allow carry in bars!

House Bill 111 will remove the ban on carrying a concealed handgun in a restaurant that serves alcohol. NCGV will no doubt hold this incident up as an example of why we should not pass HB111.

As we see, guns and alcohol don’t mix. So why was she carrying in a bar? Isn’t that illegal?

So she wasn’t carrying, she went to her car to get the gun. But why did she shoot her friend?

So it was an “accident?” Assuming that anything that involves deliberately retrieving a gun from a car and then putting your finger on the trigger can be called an “accident.”

The question is, why is this law abiding citizen getting involved in a drunken brawl and shooting people?

What a surprise. People who shoot other people in bar brawls tend to have prior records. I’m shocked, shocked, I tell you.
