So will he be allowed to plea away the Felon in Possession charges?

From Fayetteville, we have this lovely story,

(Suspect), 33, of the 1000 block of Patrick Drive, was arrested Friday after police searched his home and an apartment on Lauren McNeill Loop and found about 3.5 kilograms of cocaine, as well as three handguns, a shotgun and more than $90,000. Two of the handguns had been reported stolen, police said.

The list of charges somehow don’t include Felon in Possession. Because you just know this guy has to be a felon, right?

Suspect

Of course he is.

So, will he be allowed to plea that one away? Or will they grow a pair and send him off to Federal prison for a change?

  2. Because he can't be forced to incriminate himself, the Journalisticlas consider him an "alleged" felon??
