You’ll never take me alive, Copper!

Umm, well this was a bit excessive as a way to stay out of jail

Two suspects in a Winston-Salem robbery are dead after police say one of them killed his partner then turned the gun on himself while being chased by officers.

I think that the prime motivation here was to stay out of jail. You see, neither of them had ever been to prison before. This is not to say that they had never been convicted before

They just received probation. I guess they didn’t learn their lesson.

Update: A possible explanation? The owner of the SUV used in the robbery found dead of a gunshot wound.

  1. I love a happy ending. And think of the savings to the taxpayers. To send them to prison would cost millions. This way, their relatives can pay to bury them. Of course they will all be saying how they were both turning their lives around.

  2. @Robert: Yep, they were turning their lives around. Except for the robbery and possible murder part.
