Who wants a Gunwalker T-Shirt?

Final Update: The first run of shirts is sold out, but you can order a shirt for the second run, HERE.

In the comments of John Richardson’s post detailing how the ATF was also smuggling guns into Honduras, I said

Apparently David Codrea, one of the two original reporters (and a great blogger) who uncovered the Gunwalker scandal, thought it was hilarious. He wants it made into a t-shirt.

So here’s the deal. I spoke with my local screen printer. He has a minimum order of 30 shirts. We can get them fully screen printed, black shirt, white AK-47 and lettering for $15 each. So for $15 plus $5 ($6) shipping and handling ($17 for XXL), you can have what will probably be the official shirt of Gunwalker.

All proceeds (if there are any) will go straight into my “Buy Sean a Kriss Vector” fund. If we get enough orders I will send a free shirt to David Codrea, Mike Vanderboegh (the other original reporter/blogger) and Representative Issa.

Who’s in?

  4. @Heather: yes. Just make a note that you want a small.

  5. All you little types, Yes, you can have small or medium :) Just bear in mind that a tight shirt makes concealed carry difficult.

  6. What kind of shirts?

    Cotton?

    Cotton/Poly?

    Shrinkage factor after washing?

Need to know so I order right size. I'm know nothing of the concealed carry issue of which you speak, since I'm from NJ.

  7. @Cemetery: I've sent an email to the screen printer. I'll get back to you.

  9. I am so IN.

Though I'm really not a fan of black. Just not my color. Black on white would be a nice option.

Or maybe purple on lime green? Blue on pink? Too much? :D

  10. I'm so in, and I don't give a crap what the shirt is made of.

  13. UPDATE: I've added Small and Medium. We have met the minimum number for this, so I will be off to the silk screener this morning. Since there is a lag time while the screen is made and he gets the order into rotation, you still have time to order.

  14. Hey, Can you do a button for quantity. I am only seeing the option of one for the quantity.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Update: I have upgraded my PayPal account to allow for multiple purchase (Add to Cart) buttons. Now you can buy them 2 or 3 at a time. I still have to charge $5 shipping each. Sorry about that. If you want a large quantity, contact me directly and we will work out a separate deal.

  22. David, how much you want to bet he didn't?

    ReplyDelete
  23. @David: No, I have nothing to do with that. The design looks similar to something that I've seen before.

  25. Left a comment on the WND site "submit a review," but it appears that they are not allowing any of the reviews to be posted.

I am also posting a commentary on my own modest blog, "Houston Conservative dot blogspot dot com" describing WND's perfidy.

I also have a suggestion for another T-shirt; feel free to use it.

    "ATF

    Gun supplier of choice
    for drug smugglers everywhere."

    Good luck,

    Will

  26. @Will: Thanks for the support. I think I will stick with the one shirt. Maybe you could take yours and make it into a bumper sticker or a shirt for you.

  27. UPDATE 4: I am sorry to say that I have to raise shipping costs to $6. Previous purchases will be honored at the agreed rate at the time of purchase. I have also had to disable multiple purchases at the same time. PayPal wouldn't charge extra shipping for two shirts. I can't fit two shirts in the box, so I have to charge for each shirt. I have to be very careful as I am not making a great deal of money here and I don't want to lose it all on shipping costs.

  28. UPDATE: WND DOES THE RIGHT THING! After a quick email conversation with WND Editor Joseph Farah, he has pulled the shirt from sale and will commence an investigation on Monday when everyone gets back to the office.

Please join me in thanking the WND Editor and CEO for his swift resolution of this issue.

Read the update on this post! http://bit.ly/nCcX9G

  29. Sean, couldn't you use those flexible (Tyvek/poly) envelopes instead of a box?

  30. Congrats to the Gunblogosphere on the WND campaign. My review on their site was never posted - I suggested they link their order page to your web page.

  31. Can I still get in on the shirt order???

    ReplyDelete
  32. @Capt45: yes you can. I have abot 80 orders so far.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Woo hoo! I'm in! BTW, did you determine the fabric? All cotton or a blend? Thanks!

    ReplyDelete
  34. UPDATE: Shirts ordered. T-Shirts are 100% cotton 6.1 oz Anvil 979 shirts. (Google it) Ordered 108 shirts. Current orders are 80, so get them before they are all gone. As before, if you have a gun shop, t-shirt selling business, whatever, contact me for bulk orders.

  35. too hot for black shirts down South, black on white in X-TALL (longer) would be what us concealed carry guys need in TX to cover/conceal while reaching top shelf @ WalMart :)

  36. Hey Sean! We got ours today and we're wearing them!! Very cool!!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Great! let all your friends know. I am taking orders for the second print run. I've even gotten an email from a guy at the NSSF who wants one.

    ReplyDelete
