Well that didn't take too long

The taste of freedom was just too much for one man recently released from prison.

A day after he was released from jail, a Weldon man was caught carrying bags of items stolen during a home break-in, according to the Halifax County Sheriff's Office.

Well, maybe it was a fluke.

(Suspect) has more than three dozen convictions dating to 1991 and has spent more than 13 years of the past 20 behind bars, according to state Department of Correction records.

I think he’s telling us that he just can’t be trusted on the outside.
