Robbing a Chinese deliveryman

Delivering food, whether pizza or Chinese, is a dangerous job.

This sort of crime infuriates me. It angers me for two reasons. First, when I call for delivery, I don’t want them to look at my neighborhood and wonder if they will get attacked. Second, there’s a strong possibility that the victim was not a US citizen. NC law requires that NC Concealed Handgun Permit holders be US citizens. So unless Zheng felt like Open Carrying, he was disarmed by State policy.

It’s time to get that changed. I’m not planning on robbing the pizza man or the Chinese deliveryman, so I am not worried if he carries a gun. If you are worried about it, maybe you should examine your motivations.

And the suspect? Felon. Not really surprised, are you?

  1. I deliver pizza part time in the evenings. I carry a 1911 everywhere I go. Another pizza driver I know was robbed and he turned the tides and shot the miscreant 3 times. The thug got 17 years, my friend got fired. Pizza hut doesn't allow concealed carry. My boss is fine with it.

  2. @Robert: Good for you. I'd never deliver without my pistol. It might not always save me, but the gun at home never will. Keep safe.

Don’t be more of an ass than me. Your words, though they are on my blog, are your own. I didn’t write them. If they are stupid, ill considered, or bigoted, it’s your problem.
