Don't try to take your probation officer's gun away

As life lessons go it’s not likely to be useful to me, but it’s a good rule of thumb never to try to take your probation officer’s gun away from him.

In fact, if someone has a gun, it’s probably not a good idea to touch it. I’m pretty sure that rule was covered in kindergarten, rule 11, “No fighting over toys.”

Obviously anyone that was on probation was a criminal. This guy was on probation for misdemeanor larceny, but he had a prior felony record.

Don’t be more of an ass than me. Your words, though they are on my blog, are your own. I didn’t write them. If they are stupid, ill considered, or bigoted, it’s your problem.

Criminal threats will be reported to the appropriate authorities for the appropriate action.
