Cry me a river

The world’s smallest violin is playing “My Heart Bleeds for You.”

 His mother said her son shouldn't have been behind the wheel. She said she doesn't want people to think she's making excuses for her son, but it bothers her that people want to look at him as a hardened criminal when he had no history of violent crime.

And what did mommy’s little angel do that landed him before the Magistrate on the serious crime of Murder?

The N.C. Highway Patrol report said (Suspect) was driving the family car when he fell asleep at the wheel on McBride Road.
The road curved to the left, but the car kept going straight, going off the right shoulder, hitting a mailbox and running through the grass before hitting a tree head-on in the front yard of a home. The airbags deployed when the car was going about 52 mph.
The posted speed limit is 35 mph.

(Suspect)'s driver's license was suspended on Dec. 20, 1996, after he was stopped and charged with having no liability insurance, according to N.C. DMV records. He didn't show up in court for that case, and his license remained suspended.
Since 1998, he had been charged at least eight times with driving with a revoked license.
His license was permanently suspended for at least the eighth time on Jan. 5, after he was convicted of driving with revoked license. A driver is eligible to reapply for a license in three years after a permanent suspension.

So this Special Snowflake decided to keep driving without a license and killed both of his kids. Neither of his kids were properly secured in the car. He was massively over the speed limit, and he fell asleep at the wheel.

But he doesn’t have a history of “violent” crime. All kinds of other crime, just not “violent.”

Lock him up tight in a prison cell. And put his wife in jail too. She knew her dirtbag husband didn’t have a license and the kids were unbelted. She’s just as guilty.
