Clip Art Bleg

I want to turn that into a real shirt. I need a high quality clipart AK-47 to make that shirt happen. Either that, or a better option than using CafePress as a store.

Any ideas?
UPDATE: Robb Allen comes through! Check the new post on this. $15 for a shirt $17 for XXL

  1. Have you tried Googling "online custom t-shirt stores?" The puppy Rescue Mission uses one; It's a new organization and Anna could probably advise you on her adventures in finding one and setting up an account. She's been through the process within the last year.

I send everybody there anyway, hoping they'll chip in a few bucks. OOO!OOO! Tomorrow is the Friday Dollar Challenge!

(I haven't bought one of their shirts, because I rarely wear them, but if they come from the same company that makes their mugs, the quality is outstanding!)

(Duh!) I forgot low tech! Check the yellow pages, local companies do that stuff too!

  2. Here is a location that has public domain weapon-related clip art.

I've done T-shirts in the past (distant past!). I had a local silk screen shop make them for me. I'm sure that there are a number of them in the Triangle who could do it.

However, do you want to waste your time with the fulfillment as well as maintaining the inventory? If you don't mind, you should have a better profit margin than if you farm it out to Cafe Press or Zazzle. The latter was one that I think Kurt Hoffman suggested in the comments at the War on Guns.

You might also want to talk with Mark Vanderburg of the Gun Rights Radio Network. They have done some t-shirts and are doing some more currently. His email is mark@gunrights.us

If you do have them printed yourself, stick with one color ink (cheaper) and don't offer a size smaller than Large unless you think you'll have a lot of female customers.

    Hope this helps.

  4. I talked to my local screen printer. If we get at least 30 shirt orders we get them for $15 each (plus shipping) Who's in?

  5. Best AK-47 clipart I could find...it's sufficiently huge that it should work great for this.

Like what you read? Have extra money and want to donate it to a good cause? Look on the right sidebar for the Paypal button labled "Contribute to the 'Buy a Kriss Vector' fund" All proceeds go to funding my purchase of a Kriss Vector SBR and suppressor.
