It looks like Wisconsin has gone Republican both in their legislature and their Governor. I see a Shall Issue concealed carry law in their future. That is, unless, they just go the Vermont route.
In fact, lots of State legislatures have gone Republican. Redistricting is coming up. I'm just saying...

I hope they just skip the bullshit and go right for permitless carry. Back in the Pre NICS days it might be a good idea to have an official card that verifies to law enforcement you are lawful and vetted, as a quick and simple means to tell law enforcement to not harass a citizen minding their own business and following the law.
ReplyDeleteThese days nothing but a Driver's license and a cell phone can be used to verify and vet an individual if needed (and in the end, Police shouldn't be harassing people who are minding their own business). Carry permits are an anachronism at best, a poll tax at worst.
