ReplyDeleteHilarious! I hope you sent her this link, just so she knows how exactly how we feel about her. I thought your character was about to ask for the hammer to beat some sense into Joan's head, since that's how I used to feel before I quit trying to discuss this issue with her and having my comments eaten by her moderation. Attempting to kill yourself with a hammer rather than trying to reason with her is probably the better course of action in her case, and stands a significantly better chance of succeeding.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I enjoy reading your blog, and I find it amusing that her thick-headedness and heavy-handed moderation drove you to create your own blog. That means she has failed on at least three counts:
1. She didn't convince any of "us" that we were wrong and she was right
2. She won't convince any random neutral or pro-gun onlooker that she's right, because her stupidity is blindingly obvious to anyone with half a brain
3. She has actively driven people (such as yourself) into vocal opposition to her beliefs (I actually considered doing the same before I found your blog)

On the one hand, that is just wierd as hell - I think it is the voices that throw me for a loop.

ReplyDeleteShe has prevented several of my responses or has taken the worst possible angle so as to present me as violent or crazy. So, instead of using the hammer, I sent a donation to the NRA-ILA and will probably follow it up with something for the Second Amendment Foundation.
